Hello, I am Manena. I am equally passionate about team building, mentoring and creating unforgettable emmersive experiences whether in retail, hospitality or alternative spaces. I have worked to build concepts for everything from events to window displays, photo shoots to interiors including 15 years of leading the visual department at abc carpet and home.

I love to invent new believable worlds that nourish the imagination of the people who experience them . I always come with an open mind and a passion for manifesting beauty. I believe strongly in “voting with your dollar” and so focus my creative support on brands who strive to merge mission and beauty.

As a Mexican American who grew up in the Middle East and England I learned at an early age to constantly reinvent my relationship to culture, how to anchor in a new ways of seeing.

This has served me deeply as an artist and a leader .

I think of myself as a designer of external and internal experiences. Collaborative leadership and visual storytelling are my strengths. I am currently open to freelance and project based work .
